 WEB CRITIQUE
This webpage contains a variety of links related to issues discussed in class. It is by no means exhaustive, nor is it an endorsement of the accuracy of any of the sites. I will periodically update this page. If you find interesting sites, let me know the url.

If you are new at web surfing, you can come and see me or Lisa Beneventano or get a tutorial on-line at http://www.lib.berkeley.edu/TeachingLib/Guides/Internet/FindInfo.html.

GUIDELINES FOR WEB CRITIQUE

For the class assignment, you must critique at least one website (not including search sites) in each of the four main parts of this listing. Look at several of the sites before you choose the best one for you to critique. For full credit you must communicate by e-mail with the creator of at least one of the sites. Select these sites carefully so you will be able to provide a critical assessment. You will write a report of about 3 pages, WHICH IS DUE NO LATER THAN MAY 12 (last day of class). You may hand in or e-mail to me a draft at any time up until APRIL 30 for comments without a grade.

Your report should address the following aspects of the websites:
